Maria Bedoya, the founder of Empowered Woman LLC, has worked with organizations such as Women in Distress of Broward County, Henderson Behavioral Health, and Multi-Cultural Health Alliance.

Through these experiences, Maria discovered a passion for advocacy, support, and education on issues affecting women, mental health, and racial inequality. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, she is dedicated to helping women explore, heal, and grow.

Empowered Woman LLC was created to bring women together to support and empower each other. Maria also offers training and workshops for Child Protection Services and Child Welfare workers on topics like domestic violence and substance abuse. Our goal is to collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive programs and services.

Hello! My name is Amy del Barrio, as a wife and mother of three I know that life can have more than its share of difficult moments day to day. With everything going on in our world and in our lives.

For the last few years, I have had the privilege to work as a clinician with agencies such as Henderson Behavioral Health where I have touched the lives of families, children and individual adults. During this time, I have honed my specialties in substance abuse, domestic violence, family conflict and parenting.

My experiences over the past 5 years have proven that people will do the best they can to achieve clearly set goals.

This knowledge and experience is what drove me to accomplish my Master’s in Mental health counseling. As a state registered Mental Health Counselor it is my pleasure to work with everyone towards overcoming any challenges they may face and work towards a better state of mental health. I look forward to working with you.
